The Magic Box is an exceptionally engaging, message-driven prop routine designed by premier storyteller and family entertainer Barry Mitchell. True to Mitchell’s "Entertaining with a Purpose" brand philosophy, this routine transforms a classic production box concept into a powerful, interactive lesson for school assemblies, libraries, and family ministry programs.
Rather than relying on fast finger-flickery or abstract props, The Magic Box uses a highly visual, oversized utility box paired with narrative-driven objects. This self-contained layout allows the performer to focus entirely on storytelling, situational humor, and audience connection.
